Throughout 2016 I had the pleasure of being brought onto the team developing Starlink: Battle for Atlas!! Although most of the work I contributed was geared towards development and discovering what the world of Atlas would look like, I’m really looking forward to its release in the later half of 2018!!
Populating Atlas’ Planets
The majority of work I performed while part of the Starlink team was checking concept design’s integrity for rigging, rig validation and testing in-engine. I also ended up animating a good number of the critters used in our particle systems.
It was our team’s first time working with the new proprietary Snowdrop engine–talk about a blank slate! Though we had limited tools to get everything working and looking the way we imagined, I think the final result will be an excellent testament to the skill and tenacity of the team
